This Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Baltimore Chapter award-winning project included construction of additions and renovations of existing facilities for this project. The center is home to popular cultural events and was renovated and expanded to meet the community's needs.
DFI provided Construction Management and Inspection (CM&I) services for the construction of the 2,000-square-foot addition and renovation of the existing facilities at the Anne Arundel County Brooklyn Park Senior Center, located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
The project included game, music and exercise rooms, additional office space and the replacement of existing flooring and ceiling tiles. Additional work included more computer spaces and the installation of a new welcome vestibule that would allow for additional community activities, involvement and outreach.
Additionally, this project was under the guidance and influence of Yumi Hogan, former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan's wife, to meet her agenda.
