This 2021 Construction Management of America (CMAA) Baltimore Chapter award-winning project was the first Maryland County facility to incorporate state processing for multiple states and local municipalities.
DFI provided Construction Management and Inspection (CM&I) services for this facility project. Work for this site included:
- All construction phases involved close coordination and maintenance of security of the adjoining facility.
- Design and construction of the addition of featured solar energy and multiple energy conservation features to help the project obtain the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)® Silver-certified high-performance building accreditation.
- Installation of solar photovoltaic systems, such as grid-interactive solar photovoltaic system, which includes photovoltaic modules, mounting system, inverters, disconnects, string combiner boxes, monitor and display system equipment and air conditioning wiring and conduit.
DFI's roof leak detection and identification recommendations via our Drone Thermal Imaging and handheld FLIR Thermal Imaging services resulted in cost savings for the County.
