Development Facilitators, Inc.'s (DFI) Survey Department performs an array of survey and mapping services for residential and commercial entities, as well as the private sector, within Maryland. DFI's surveyors can perform a multitude of surveys to help a property owner, whether for a residential or commercial client, to find their boundary lines to mapping services, including drawings, to locating underground utilities, such as sewer lines.
The survey crew works in Maryland in compliance with state, local and American Land Title Association/National Society of Professional Surveyors (ALTA/NSPS) standards. DFI's surveyors have experience with residential owners, as well as on projects for the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDTA), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the U.S. National Geodetic Survey (NOAA).

Development Facilitators, Inc.'s Survey Department was responsible for several survey-related analyses for the Millhouse Creek Subdivision, located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The subdivision, which is located on 23 acres, has 76 lots and contains environmental features such as wetlands, specimen trees and a floodplain.
The survey crew conduced as-necessary field run survey cross-sections along the stream channel to provide DFI's Civil Engineering Department with an accurate depiction of the downstream reach. In addition to the field survey, the crew also performed boundary and topographic surveys to locate environmental features, as well as a full construction survey stakeout for the infrastructure, including sediment controls and limits of disturbance, and new home construction including building pad stake out and building foundation stakeout, among other tasks completed on the site.
