Development Facilitators, Inc. (DFI) provided the inspection services for the Appeal Convenience Center, located in Calvert County, Maryland. The site design allows for one-way traffic flow for residents and eliminated wait times experienced at older sites when compactor bins were changed out. The construction consisted of approximately three acres of mass grading, storm drainage and bio-retention facilities Other work included the erection of a small office building, walkway canopies, 650 linear feet (LF) of concrete retaining wall, among other improvements made. This center provided the county with a new state of the art waste and recycling center.
