Development Facilitators, Inc. (DFI) provided professional services to Lennar Homes for site development planning, engineering and surveying for the development of a 271 townhouse unit on 35 acres of land. The project included performing a boundary survey, topographic survey complete site engineering including public water and sewer design, stormwater management design, recreational park and landscape design, road plans, and preparation of erosion and sediment control plans. During the construction process, DFI provided all of the surveying services required for construction of the required infrastructure, site grading, house construction stake-out and as-built plans. DFI also provided inspection services for the sites sediment control and stormwater management devices, as well as provided professional engineer certification letters to verify that the devices were built in accordance with the approved plans unit community located in northern Anne Arundel County. The project is located off of Marley Neck Boulevard and is part of a comprehensively planned community. Additional responsibilities included the design of two stormwater management infiltration basins, grading, sediment and erosion control plans and public road plans. DFI was also responsible for the construction stakeout of the project as well as the construction inspection and certification of the stormwater management ponds. Project scope included water resources engineering, transportation and highway engineering, structural engineering, traffic engineering, land development, geotechnical services, land and geodetic surveying, and environmental field delineation.
