Project description

The Lower Wheel Creek project focused on stream restoration, rehabilitation and habitat enhancement for the 3,700-foot stream.

DFI provided Construction Inspection (CI) services for the first phase of this stream restoration project, located in Harford County, Maryland. The construction for rehabilitation and habitat enhancement of the Lower Wheel Creek included establishment of riffles, imbricated walls, root wads and stream bed restoration. Additionally, the project included three (3) separate water quality facility rehabilitations and one (1) new installation.
