Crossland Farms is a 28-single family development, located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
DFI provided Engineering and Design services for this residential project. DFI supervised the development of the construction plans, coordinated with adjacent property owners to secure easements for utilities and Storm Water Management (SWM) and grading permits. During construction of the development, DFI coordinated with the adjacent developer for modifications to the adjacent sediment basin to save the expense of installing an additional trap. Coordinated and supervised the inspection of the erosion and sediment control (E&SC) and SWM devices and provided professional certification of the devices, coordinated directly with the contractor to ensure the specimen tree is protected and that the gravel wetlands are receiving appropriate drainage area.
DFI coordinated and attended on site meetings with developer, contractor and the Anne Arundel County, Maryland inspector. Additionally, DFI coordinated preparation of as-built plans for both grading and public infrastructure, cost estimates and request for partial bond reduction.
