Honored by the International Partnering Institute (IPI), the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport Midfield Cargo Expansion project was completed 38 days ahead of schedule.
DFI worked with P. Flanigan and Sons, Inc. to provide Quality Control (QC) management, testing and records for the Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport's Midfield Air Cargo Complex project. Amazon purchased the Midfield Cargo building to expand their distribution center and network, in addition, with the adjacent pad utilized as parking for three Amazon cargo jets.
DFI was tasked with coordinating QC testing to comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) and Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) State Highway Administration (SHA) specifications, as well as project specifications and tracking quantities for all contract line items.
